Editorial and book redesign project based on a vintage Hyatt Regency Hong Kong travel guide. The aim was to reinterpret the publication for a contemporary audience while retaining the cultural character and visual essence of the city.

Drawing from Hong Kong’s layered history and Chinese cultural references, the redesign balances restraint and richness. Subtle typography, rich colours and compact proportions were used to create a refined, portable publication suited to modern travel.
